How to Book

Thank you for your interest in my work!

I book appointments via email Newsletter every other month for two-month intervals. If I still have open spots after newsletter subscribers have booked, the submission form will be accessible from the drop-down menu at the top right of this page.

Books are full through 2024, and are closed at this time, thank you!

Flash Tattoos

(Flash : a pre-drawn design)

Flash designs are repeatable until I decide to ‘retire’ a design, and have set prices - click on each image on my flash page to see prices and minimum sizes for each design. Retired flash always has a chance of coming back later, especially holiday designs.

If you saw an old design you liked and it isn’t available, I’m usually happy to update or make a variation of the original design!

I’m also happy to add to or change flash for customization. I don’t do “pops” of color, but color flash can be done in black-and-grey, or you can request to change up the color palette.

Custom Tattoos

Note: Custom appointments are limited and can only be booked via my Newsletter

If you like the look of my flash but want something more personal and unique, booking a custom design is for you. Just a few examples of subjects I enjoy tattooing include:

  • classic traditional tattoo imagery

  • vintage/antique/retro inspired

  • ladies & pinups

  • 18-1900’s illustrations or greeting cards

  • early americana

  • skulls, devils, general witchery

  • old funky objects

  • traditional florals

  • traditional ornamental

  • bones, animals, mythological creatures, mushrooms, hands, portals, fans, crystal balls, skulls, devils, vases with flowers or plants, etc

I only design customs in my own style, influenced by a mix of traditional tattoo and folk art with bold contrast and shading. If you are looking for a design that is linework only/no shading, I am probably not the best fit for your tattoo vision.

Please note that I accept custom requests based on what aligns with my artistic vision and what I feel would work best with my tattooing style. Custom tattoos are priced at my hourly rate of $200/hr; you’ll receive a time estimate before your appointment.

For custom tattoos, I ask a non-refundable drawing fee to cover the time I spend designing your tattoo. This ranges from $20-$80 depending on the complexity of your design. If it’s a simpler design or we’re working on a large-scale project, I may wave the drawing fee. Note: Both a deposit and drawing fee are required to confirm your appointment for custom work

POLICIES

Custom Design Policy

Trusting an artist with a custom is a big commitment! I try to make the process as stress-free as possible. I will send your custom design a day or two prior to your appointment, via email, in case you’d like any changes made. Please be as clear as possible about your idea in your submission form and emails; If you are unclear in our emails and require major redraws due to lack of clarity (edits are completely fine), I will require an additional drawing fee and, for large and detailed custom redraws, may need to reschedule your appointment further out to give the design the attention it deserves. Excessive redraws or lack of communication may result in discontinuing the project

Deposit Policy

TEMP UPDATE TO CANCELLATION POLICY

For service providers such as myself, Dec-Jan is a time when we receive nonstop cancellations / reschedules due to the holiday season, with typically not enough time to fill the spot. This often happens due to folks not realizing they’ve spent their tattoo budget on gifts + travel until last minute.

This leaves self-employed artists like me scrambling to pay bills during holiday season. Due to this, only for Dec - Jan, the cancellation policy is a bit different.

At least one week’s notice for reschedules is required to transfer your deposit to a new appointment. As usual, with enough notice I’m happy to transfer your deposit once to a new appointment date.

SNOW DAY POLICY

We are supposed to have a snowy winter this year!

Deposits are transferrable to reschedules no matter how last-minute in the event of a snow or ice storm. If both of us are comfortable driving to the shop, I’m more than happy to come in - but I would rather you not risk your safety to make an appointment in inclement weather.

Normal Deposit Policy

When booking, a $100 deposit is required to confirm your appointment. This goes towards your total and is non-refundable. The info to pay a deposit will be sent to you once we have chatted through email and picked a date for your appointment, and needs to be sent within 24 hrs - I cannot hold any appointment date until a deposit has been received. Speedy email responses from you help me give you your pick of date!

A deposit is transferable to one reschedule with at least 3 days cancellation notice; you must reschedule within 30 days of cancellation to transfer a deposit to a new appointment.

Your deposit is forfeited if you:

  • Reschedule sooner than 3 days before your appointment

  • Are more than 20 minutes late without notice

  • Are more than 30 minutes late

  • Reschedule the same appointment more than once (Note: excessive rescheduling may result in permanent cancellation of the appointment)

Shop COVID Policy

If you have an upcoming appointment and find yourself experiencing fever, nausea, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, please let me know prior to your appointment. As much notice as possible is appreciated

Tattoo Payment

I take cash or card for final payment at the end of your appointment (I don’t take final payment over payment apps, only for deposits). If you are paying via card, keep in mind that there is a 3% card fee that will be added to your total - this doesn’t go to me, this is the fee Square takes for card transactions
