Where are you located?

I tattoo out of La Petite Tattoo in Portland, Oregon; a women-owned shop by appointment only. We are located at 4506 SE Belmont St, Suite 280

What is your rate?

Flash is priced by the piece, whereas customs designs are priced at $200/hour. If you’re curious about how long a piece may take, I’m happy to give a quote prior to booking!

For custom work there is an area on the submission form for any budget you may have, and if you do have a budget, we will discuss that before booking.

If I can’t give an exact guesstimate, I always try to over-estimate rather than under.

If you’re getting a custom design, I will provide my best estimate for how long your tattoo will take in the “reminder email” you receive a week before your appointment.

How do I book a custom tattoo?

Custom tattoo projects are only booked through my booking newsletter; please see “Booking” page for more info on customs

How long have you been tattooing?

I’ve been tattooing since fall of 2021, and was able to quit my day job and go full-time in June 2022. I’ve been with my friends at La Petite Tattoo ever since!

Do you have a waitlist?

I do not keep a waitlist, however, keep an eye on my instagram stories for reschedule openings if you want a sooner spot. Reschedule openings are typically flash-only

Is your flash repeatable?

All of the flash currently posted on my website is repeatable. I will tattoo a design until I feel like I’d like to work on more current designs, at which time it will be retired. Retired flash always has a chance of being brought back later, especially holiday-themed designs. If you liked a retired design that I’m not offering, I’m usually happy to redesign and update older designs - if I have the time - upon request

What details will I need to know for my appointment?

Everything you need to know will be in the reminder email you’ll receive about a week before your appointment. This will include the date & time of your appointment, parking and directions to our suite, estimated total price, what to bring, and how to prepare.

Can I book multiple tattoos/can I book with a friend/partner?

I’m always happy to do multi-tattoo sessions! 3 small designs, or 2 medium/large/complex designs is my personal limit on what I can do in a day. If you are interested in booking multiple designs, one booking form works best - just be sure to include size and placement for all designs. If you’d like to book an appointment to get tattooed with a friend or loved one, please mention this and include the other person(s) name(s) and email address(es) in your submission form, so that I can CC the booking email to everybody.

Will I see my custom design ahead of time?

I email custom designs a day or two before your appointment in case any changes need to be made. Large adjustments may require an additional drawing fee and/or rescheduling of the appointment (see “custom designs” policy on booking page for more info)

Can I bring a friend?

One guest is permitted to come to your appointment with you, though seating may vary depending on how busy the shop is that day

How do I book a touch-up?

Touch-ups are free (on my own work) within one year of completing your tattoo. Touchups on tattoos older than a year can still be scheduled, but a setup fee will apply. These can be scheduled at any time, regardless of my booking status, by emailing donnajeantattoo@gmail.com. Please include a photo of your healed tattoo in your email.

Do you do cover-ups?

Whether I will take a cover-up project is purely a case-by-case basis, but I am always willing to take a look.
